SQL License Downgrade

Hi,

I would like to ask help on some scenarios on SQL 2012 Standard Implementation.

Say for example, i have 1 clustered SQL 2012 Enterprise Evaluation scenario. Im planning to downgrade it to SQL 2012 Standard(now licensed edition). I checked here,https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms143393.aspx and found out that this scenario is not supported. I already have populated some databases and i dont want to do fresh installation.

Could you recommend on what will be the possible solutions for me not to do fresh installation?

Can i backup my database file and once fresh installation is done, i will just load/import it. What will be considered if doing this?

Is it also possible for me to remove the node(s) from the cluster and apply the license and once license is applied, add to the cluster again? Will there be any problem doing this?

Your answers will help alot.

Thanks,

Kevin
