Hi, can anybody help explain to me how I can connect to a SQL Server (installed on a PC at workplace connected to internet) from my own PC. I have configured IP, firewall on the one I try to connect. But how should I connect then? My own PC is installed with SQL Express (12.0) while the one I am trying to connect is installed with SQL Server 2008 R2 (standard). What IP should I use in Management Studio [Server Name] box? Thanks!
