I am new to SQL. I want to be able to set up my actions and see the result before it is fully committed to the database. My supervisor says the commit and rollback is likely the answer but the answers I have seen on the forums don't actually look like
they set up the action (Update etc.) and then tell you what will happen and then allow you to rollback the command when you realize you didn't enter your command correctly. Sorry I sound like a dumb girl but really appreciate the information.
