Hi Freinds,

I am trying to install SQL Server 2014 on Windows 2008 R2 Standard.

I have already SQL 2008 and 2012 running on the same server but for different applications.

When I run the Package "SQLEXPR_x64_EN_SQL14" (196 MB) , seperate folder gets created on Desktop with Name "SQLEXPR_x64_EN_SQL14" , after installation process starts, during Installation Progress , a message gets displayed :

" Microsoft VSS Writer for SQL Server 2014, The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable"

Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'sqlwriter.msi' in the box below

I also tried selecting .msi file from folder "SQLEXPR_x64_EN_SQL14" by using Browse -> Desktop-> SQLEXPR_x64_EN_SQL14\1033_ENU_LP\x64\Setup\x64\SQLWRITER.MSI -> Ok

But again it display error message " The file SQLEXPR_x64_EN_SQL14\1033_ENU_LP\x64\Setup\x64\SQLWRITER.MSI is not valid installation package for the product Microsoft SQL server VSS writer. Try to find the installation package from "sqlwriter.msi'

Please suggest how to fix this issue
