Without oversharing or going into boring detail, I used to be a developer specializing in SQL Server from 2003 to 2012. Life took me in a different direction in the past seven years but I am now interviewing for positions that will utilize my SQL
Server knowledge. But I've found that it's no longer what it used to be. (Both my knowledge and SQL Server).
I had a pretty good practical grounding in versions 2000-2008, but interviewers understandably ask questions targeting features in use in the more recent SQL versions. In combination with a few mental cobwebs, I'm feeling in need of a crash course.
So are there any good books or web courses out there for folks who know pre-2012 SQL Server versions pretty well, and want to bone up on new features?
